ABSTRACT
This International Standard establishes a systematic approach to assessing the potential occupational risks associated with nano-objects, their agglomerates and aggregates (NOAA) arising from the production and use of nanomaterials and / or nanotechnology products. The proposed approach provides for the identification of exposure pathways, exposed body parts and potential consequences. This International Standard addresses the professional use of products containing NOAA, such as by beauticians using personal care products, cosmetics or pharmaceuticals, but does not address the intentional or prescribed exposure of consumers to these products. This International Standard is intended for occupational health professionals, researchers and other occupational safety professionals,
