Nanomaterials. Nanostructured organophillic and hydrophilic clays. Requirements and methods of testing

This International Standard applies to organophilic and hydrophilic nanostructured powdered clays (hereinafter referred to as nanoclays) modified with quaternary ammonium salts. This standard applies to nanoclays used as additives for the manufacture of polymer and paint materials, drilling fluids and bitumen emulsions in order to impart the required physical-mechanical, barrier and fire-resistant properties.
