ABSTRACT

Part of the IEC 62607 series of standards, this standard covers electrode nanomaterials used in the manufacture of electrical energy storage devices and specifies a method for infrared spectroscopy (IR spectrometry) for the determination of carbon content. The method is used to determine the mass fraction of carbon in the range from 0.001% to 100% in electrode nanomaterials. Based on the results obtained using the method specified in this standard, the consumer will be able to decide on the suitability of the electrode nanomaterial for the application and select the electrode nanomaterial with a suitable carbon content.
