ABSTRACT

Part of the IEC 62607 series of standards, this standard covers electrode nanomaterials used in the manufacture of electrical energy storage devices and specifies a method for determining water content by coulometric Karl Fischer titration. This International Standard specifies requirements for sampling, test equipment, results processing, and an example test (see Annex A). This standard does not apply to electrode nanomaterials, which can react with the main components of the Karl Fischer reagent with the release of water and with iodine or iodide ion.
