ABSTRACT

This standard specifies test equipment and test procedures for determining the filtration efficiency of flat sheet filter media for airborne nanoparticles with sizes in the range of 3 to 30 nm. The test methods specified in this standard are applicable only to spherical or nearly spherical particles to avoid uncertainties associated with particle shape determination.
