ABSTRACT

This standard provides a procedure for detecting ROS (∙OH, O2-, 1O2) generated by metal oxide nanomaterials in an aqueous solution of a spin trapping agent specialized for reactive oxygen species (ROS) using ESR, but , exclude ESR procedures that do not use spin trapping agents.
