This standard specifies a method for measuring the external and internal specific surface areas of dispersed or porous (pore diameter of 2 nm or more) fine ceramics by measuring the amount of physically adsorbed gas according to the BET (Brunauer, Emmet, Teller) method. do [1]. General guidelines for measurement methods follow KS A 0094. This standard only focuses on details related to fine ceramic materials. It should be noted that the BET method is not applicable for Type I isotherms [microporous materials, or chemisorption] or for powders that absorb the measured gas.
