ABSTRACT
This standard specifies the test equipment and the procedure for determining the proper fractional filtration efficiency of flat filter materials for nanoparticles in the air in the range from 20 nm to 500 nm. The test methods specified in this standard are limited to the use of spherical or nearly spherical particles to avoid uncertainty due to particle shape.
