ABSTRACT

This document specifies test methods for determining filter efficiency for the most penetrating particle size fraction (MPPS). It also provides guidelines for the testing and classification of filters for MPPS below 0.1 μm (Appendix B) and filters using (electrostatically charged) synthetic fibers (Appendix C). It is recommended to be used in conjunction with ISO 29463-1, ISO 29463-2, ISO 29463-3 and ISO 29463-4.
