This standard specifies the terms and definitions of in situ nanoindentation/scratches and symbols, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging. This standard is applicable to the in-situ nanoindentation/scratch tester (hereinafter referred to as the tester) for the in situ indentation hardness, scratch hardness and material parameters of the solid material for in situ monitoring by means of an imaging device.
