ABSTRACT

Established by adopting ISO/TS 10818:2023 Nanotechnologies — Textiles containing nanomaterials and nanostructures — Superhydrophobic characteristics and durability assessment using identical reprinting methods, primarily using the English version of ISO. - Specifies the characteristics and performance of superhydrophobic textiles containing nanomaterials and nanostructures (TCNNs) based on measurements of contact angles before and after washing/drying (laundry), ironing processes, light sources, and friction, as determined by agreement between trading partners. This standard covers only woven and non-woven fabrics. - Does not address issues related to safety and health.
