ABSTRACT

The standard specifies the instruments and test procedures for determining the spectral efficiency of flat filter materials with respect to nanoparticles dispersed in the air having dimensions between 3 nm and 30 nm. The test methods described in this document are limited to spherical or quasi-spherical particles to avoid uncertainties due to the shape of the particles.
