ABSTRACT

The standard specifies the instruments and test procedures for determining the spectral efficiency of flat filter materials with respect to nanoparticles dispersed in the air having dimensions between 20 nm and 500 nm. The test methods described in this document are limited to spherical or quasi-spherical particles to avoid uncertainties due to the shape of the particles.
