Exposure in the workplace - Assessment of inhalation exposure of nanomaterials and their aggregates or agglomerates

The standard provides guidelines for assessing exposure by inhalation of nanomaterials and their aggregates and agglomerates in the workplace. It contains the guidelines on sampling and on the measurement strategies to be adopted and the methods for data evaluation. Although the purpose of this document is the risk assessment for nanomaterials, the approach is also applicable to the relevant aggregates and agglomerates, such as NOAA and particles released from nanocomposites or nano-assimilated products.
