Researchers from Tokyo University of Science (TUS) have developed nanoparticles from rice bran, demonstrating potent anticancer effects in mice models. Published in the Journal of Nanobiotechnology, the study found that rice bran-derived nanoparticles (rbNPs) effectively arrested cancer cell division and induced programmed cell death, highlighting their potential as safe and affordable alternatives to traditional cancer treatments.
