HALIFAX, Nova Scotia, May 25, 2022 — Advanced materials and nanocomposite developer Meta Materials appointed Raj Rajaram chief marketing officer. Most recently, Rajaram served as senior vice president of global marketing for Protective Industries. He has also served as vice president of marketing for the industrial distribution business unit of Superior Essex Corp., and he has held positions at Honeywell and Lubrizol.

ROSH PINN, Israel — IR-Med, a developer of advanced medical technologies, appointed Moshe Gerber CEO, effective immediately. Gerber established and managed medical device company Gerium Medical between 2011 and 2015 and oversaw its sale to Mennen Medical, of which he then served as vice president of business development and sales.

GLASGOW, Scotland — The University of Glasgow named Adam McKenzie a research associate. McKenzie will lead the university’s Knowledge Transfer Partnership project with Vector Photonics. He will analyze PCSEL reliability and failure capabilities to inform new product development and accelerate commercialization.
