SAN JOSE, Calif. — Lumentum Holdings appointed Pamela Fletcher an independent member of the company’s board of directors, effective immediately. The election expands the membership of the board to nine members, eight of whom are independent. Fletcher serves as senior vice president and chief sustainability officer at Delta Air Lines. She previously worked at General Motors in senior leadership positions including vice president of global innovation and vice president of electric vehicles.
CAMBRIDGE, England — FlexEnable, a provider of flexible organic electronics for optical modules and displays, including liquid crystal optics, announced changes to its board of directors and leadership team. This follows the restructuring of the company in late 2022, when funds managed by affiliates of Fortress Investment Group LLC became the majority shareholder of FlexEnable, joined by Kilonova Capital and Coretronic. FlexEnable’s new board of directors includes four directors from the new ownership: Erez Levy, managing director at Fortress; Lin Chen, director at Fortress; Nick Fegan, managing director at Fortress; and Wes Goldstein, managing partner at Kilonova Capital. Other members include Chuck Milligan, FlexEnable CEO; and Mark Verrall as an independent director.

OXFORD, England — ONI, a developer of live-cell imaging technology, appointed Paul Scagnetti CEO. Scagnetti succeeds founding CEO Bo Jing, who will remain with ONI as a contributor in product development. Before joining ONI, Scagnetti was vice president of corporate and business development at Illumina, where he led mergers and acquisitions, partnerships, and licensing.

TUCSON, Ariz. — Stratospheric exploration, flight technology, and remote sensing company World View appointed Ian Thomas chief revenue officer. Thomas spent 15 years working at Boeing Co. in senior leadership roles and later led the company’s operations in the U.K., India, Australia, and China. Before his time at Boeing, he served in the office of NATO policy at the Pentagon and has written widely on U.S. and Allied defense and security issues. STOCKHOLM — Hexagon AB, a developer and provider of digital reality solutions, appointed Eva Carranza head of sustainability and Tom Hull head of investor relations. Carranza, currently global director ESG and sustainability for Hexagon’s Geosystems division, is based in Switzerland. Hull, formerly of Blue Prism, is based in the U.K.
