MoS2 single-layer, as one of transition metal dichalcogenide (TMD) monolayers (novel two dimensional honeycomb semiconductors), is composed of three layers with hexagonal symmetry, in which each Mo atom is covalently bonded with equal distances with three S atoms in up-layer and three S atoms in down-layer.
