ABSTRACT
This standard applies to material containing single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) and specifies methods of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry (EDX) for determining the chemical composition of catalysts and inorganic impurities. This International Standard applies to both purified nanomaterials and nanomaterials in the "as manufactured" condition. The methods specified in this International Standard are applicable to nanomaterials containing multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs).
