Nanotechnology — Nanoparticles in powder form — Characteristics and measurements

This standard presents a list of fundamental characteristics that are commonly determined for nanoparticles in powder form. This document establishes specific measurement methods for each of these characteristics. It does not specify acceptable quantitative criteria in relation to the characteristics, since they are the subject of agreement between buyers, sellers and regulatory bodies. Characteristics related specifically to health, safety and environmental aspects are excluded from this document, as well as characteristics related to specific applications of nanoparticles in powder form.
